THE STORY

By 2030, a data breach is just weather. The week Meridian Health frames its new security certificate, a machine that never sleeps moves the company one line up a very long list.

Priya Raman found the open door months ago. Nobody listened. Then, in under an hour, something walked through the seam between a dozen teams that never spoke, and took everything.

There is no hacker to catch. Only a system built to look safe, and a woman who finally sees why it never was.

Nobody reads security reports.

WHY I WROTE IT

I've watched good findings die in inboxes for years. So I wrote the breach as a story, because people finish stories.

Larry Orton, cybersecurity founder and Army Master Sergeant, arms crossed.
